Founder

Jurie comes from a farming and management background and is described as the chief designer of Zeagrow, an innovative fertilization concept utilizing biostimulants. He has focused on plant-to-plant based biostimulant work, organic and natural animal fodder, and the practical application of sustainable agriculture technologies.

His experience connects crop and animal farming, farm equipment, maintenance, irrigation, solar applications, construction and community training. This practical background supports Be Botanical’s ambition to design systems that can be implemented on the ground rather than remaining at concept level.

Jurie’s holistic view links food security, climate change, water, biodiversity and sanitation through practical revenue models. This perspective is central to Be Botanical: circular agriculture should improve the environment, create viable products and strengthen local farming systems at the same time.

George C.C. Pandukai

George C.C. Pandukai is dedicated to advancing sustainable solutions in waste management and renewable energy development. His work focuses on developing and implementing biogas systems that manage agricultural and household waste while reducing environmental pollution. Through an integrated waste-to-value approach, George explores how organic waste can be transformed into renewable energy and nutrient-rich organic fertilizers. These solutions support cleaner communities, sustainable agriculture, improved soil health, and a more circular economy.

George is also conducting ongoing research into nano-organic fertilizer development. This research aims to explore innovative fertilizer technologies that could improve nutrient efficiency, support healthier crop production, and reduce agriculture’s dependence on conventional chemical fertilizers. His work connects waste management, renewable energy, and sustainable agriculture, turning environmental challenges into practical opportunities for energy generation and food production.

Safet Krasnici is an experienced entrepreneur and business development professional with extensive knowledge of operating in African markets. He is a trusted business partner and personal friend of Jurie Geldenhuys, founder of Be Botanical.

Martin Nyashanu is an experienced Zimbabwean agronomist and the CEO of Agro Afrika, where he leads the development and implementation of sustainable agricultural projects across Zimbabwe and the wider African region.

With a strong focus on climate-smart farming, exotic and high-value crop production, and export-oriented agriculture, Martin works to create agricultural systems that are commercially viable while improving environmental sustainability and strengthening rural communities. His work places particular emphasis on introducing innovative production methods, improving farmer knowledge, developing export-ready value chains, and creating meaningful social and economic opportunities for local communities.

Martin is strongly driven by social impact, with a vision of agriculture as a tool for job creation, skills development, food security, rural development, and long-term economic empowerment.

Through Agro Afrika, Martin has partnered with Be Botanical as a strategic partner and project manager for agricultural development initiatives in Southern Africa. The partnership combines Agro Afrika’s local agricultural knowledge, project implementation capacity, and stakeholder relationships with Be Botanical’s international business development, sustainability expertise, technology transfer, and access to international markets.
